Summary

This study introduces a Particle Swarm Optimization-integrated Nonlinear Model Predictive Control (PSO-NMPC) strategy to improve the path tracking of underground Load-Haul-Dump (LHD) vehicles. The enhanced controller significantly reduces trajectory deviations, especially on complex curved paths.
