  • Computed tomography (CT) showed normal cochlear anatomy, but magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) revealed right-sided CND.

Findings:

  • High-resolution MRI confirmed the diagnosis of right-sided cochlear nerve deficiency.
  • The patient was recommended for cochlear implantation and speech therapy.

Implications:

  • This case highlights the critical role of advanced imaging, specifically MRI, in diagnosing CND.
