Discusses a technique called "Interaction Analysis" and its application to hearing-impaired children and their families. The analysis focuses on six types of behavior: (1) protesting, (2) averting, (3) attending, (4) gestures, (5) vocalizations, and (6) touching. Case studies illustrate the method.
