Abstract:
The problems involved in the reconstruction of upper extremities, in particular their differentiated movement and the intentionality of the patient concerned are briefly discussed. Three cases presenting typical indications for the interposition of the dermis in the wrist and elbow joints are presented. On the basis of our observations, the indications for implantation of a prosthesis are rare.
