[Immobilization of the scaphoid bone (alterative between upper and forearm plaster)]
Abstract:
As a result of the lengthy rehabilitation of the non-injured but fixed elbow in the treatment of scaphoid fractures or pseudarthroses in a longarm plaster cast, a modification has been developed, which inhibits supination and pronation of the forearm while the flexion-extension movement of the elbow is permitted by the incorporation of a hinge.
