Echocardiography interpretation training and internal medicine milestones: A pilot study

An echocardiography course effectively improved junior physicians' Internal Medicine Milestones (IMM) scores, demonstrating the value of competency-based training. Scores improved significantly post-course and continued to rise during clinical practice.

- No significant differences in scores were observed based on sex or physician rank.
