Light rays enter the eye through the cornea, a transparent dome-shaped tissue that is the eye's outermost layer. The cornea bends or refracts, light rays traveling to the pupil. Summary

Fixation stability deficits in anisometropic amblyopia affect both eyes and correlate with preferred retinal locus eccentricity. Clinical management should consider fixation characteristics of both the amblyopic and fellow eyes for better outcomes.
