    Summary

    The Honan intraocular pressure reducer is safe for most surgeries, but high pressures in hypertensive eyes may pose a risk of vascular occlusion. Direct measurements confirmed lower intraocular pressures (IOP) in situ than post-enucleation.

    Background:
