Correlation between IL-17 and inflammatory bowel disease

Elevated serum Interleukin-17 (IL-17) levels are linked to inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) activity. Monitoring IL-17 may help assess IBD severity and guide treatment for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.
