Summary

The progesterone receptor membrane component 1 (PGRMC1)–sigma-2 receptor (σ2R/TMEM97)–low-density lipoprotein receptor (LDLR) complex components are linked to breast cancer recurrence. TMEM97 and PGRMC1 indicate higher risk, particularly in ER+ disease, guiding future therapeutic strategies.
