Summary

Single-puncture temporomandibular joint (TMJ) arthrocentesis effectively manages disk displacement without reduction (DDwoR). Incorporating protrusive movements during TMJ arthrocentesis significantly improved maximal interincisal distance compared to techniques without these movements.
