Colonic strictures in Crohn's disease: a non-surgical survival

Surgery-free survival in Crohn's disease (CD) colonic stenosis is limited, with 5-year rates at 31.7%. Early biologic therapy is key to improving outcomes and avoiding surgery in these patients.

- Early introduction of biologic therapy is crucial for managing colonic stenosis in CD.
- Conventional treatments show limited effectiveness in preventing surgery for colonic stenosis in CD.
