Determining the QRS axis: visual estimation is equal to calculation

Visual estimation of the QRS axis using the hexaxial reference system closely correlates with calculated values. This method is accurate enough for most clinical applications involving electrocardiograms (ECGs) and premature ventricular complexes (PVCs).
