Summary

Nonsurgical rhinoplasty using hyaluronic acid (HA) filler, botulinum toxin type A (BTX), and barbed threads offers effective aesthetic improvement with minimal downtime. The triple combination provides the highest and most sustained patient satisfaction for up to a year.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To assess the clinical efficacy and safety of combining hyaluronic acid (HA) filler, botulinum toxin type A (BTX), and barbed lifting threads for nonsurgical rhinoplasty.
  • To compare patient satisfaction and adverse effects among different combinations of these nonsurgical techniques.

Main Methods:

  • 85 patients were divided into three groups receiving different combinations of HA filler, BTX, and barbed threads.
  • Patient satisfaction was assessed using the FACE-Q questionnaire at 1 month and 1 year post-treatment.
  • Adverse effects were monitored at 48 hours and 1 week after treatment.

  • The triple combination (barbed threads, HA filler, BTX) showed superior nose FACE-Q scores and highest patient satisfaction compared to other groups.
  • Patient satisfaction remained high with minimal decay over 1 year in the triple combination group.

  • Combining nonsurgical rhinoplasty techniques like threads, HA fillers, and BTX provides effective aesthetic results with minimal downtime.
  • The triple combination of HA filler, BTX, and lifting threads yields the most significant and durable patient satisfaction, lasting over a year.
