Preparation of sodium-ion cathode materials with excellent performance using a Co₃O₄-modified conformation strategy

This work introduces a strategy using Co₃O₄ modification of O3-NaNi_0.4Fe_0.2Mn_0.4O₂ to design a sodium-ion layered oxide cathode with outstanding electrochemical performance and stability. Different physicochemical characterizations and electrochemical tests were conducted. The reinforced transition metal layer creates larger space for sodium-ion accommodation and slows the phase transition process.
