[The social immunization as a tool counteracting manipulative influence on the youth]

The article considers issue of the youth, especially the ones subjected to digital addiction, that become objects of manipulation on the part of organizations implementing commercial, political or other activity and considering the youth as resource needed for attaining one's own ends. The purpose of the study was to discover tools to counteract manipulative influence on the youth affected by digital addiction manifested by steady dependence on using digital devices and staying on-line in Internet, deterioration of social psychological and physical health, reduction of social communications in real life and loss of ability to critically assess consumed information. The youth is affected in greater extent to informational manipulative influence on account of particularities of information perception, responsiveness to the new, activity in using social media and search for one's own identity and social status. The problem of manipulation with the youth becomes especially actual in conditions of existing civilization contradictions and information and hybrid wars. The necessity is substantiated to develop technology of social immunization as tool to form in the youth spiritual moral foundations, knowledge, skills permitting to consciously counteract destructive influences of external digital medium. The priority attention is to be focused on frontier regions and new territories of Russia.
