Abstract:
Pseudocellulitis is an umbrella term used to describe non-necrotizing inflammation of the dermis and hypodermis from a noninfectious aetiology. As with other mimickers of cellulitis, it may lead to misdiagnosis, unnecessary investigations and unneeded antibiotic use. This case series describes four unique cases of chemotherapy-associated pseudocellulitis (CAP) from an academic tertiary care institution and discusses ways to identify CAP.
