Abstract:
A renewable strategy has been investigated to controllably synthesize hard carbon from biomass chitin. The obtained materials exhibit network-like porous structures with satisfactory N-doping contents, and realize remarkable initial coulombic efficiencies, cycling stabilities and rate capabilities as free-standing anodes for sodium-ion batteries.
