An upsurge of invasive group A streptococcal infection has been reported in Europe in late 2022 and 2023, mostly presenting as pneumonia. We report 3 cases of invasive group A streptococcal myositis with persistent suppuration of the subcutaneous tissue, requiring prolonged antibiotics and alert for the potential emergence of these protracted complications.
