Abstract:
The training of our doctors continues to underestimate the doctor's astonishment and ability to identify with patients' stories. This article aims to comment on the need for medical training, which is nourished by knowledge not only obtained through scientific reason, taking as reference the Zambranian idea that the search for knowledge only through the rational has hindered the obtaining of knowledge. not apprehensible in this way and the usefulness of poetry as a resource to develop compassion and educate the doctor's emotions is discussed based on the analysis of texts by the Spanish philosopher.
