However, the majority of current research on embryo models resides predominantly in the engineering construction phase, with limited substantive applications. This review explores the utilization of these embryo models and their applications in deciphering fundamental developmental processes. We delve into the methodologies employed in generating these models, emphasizing their potential to advance our understanding of embryonic development and disease.
