Unpacking VKC: How gender and age shape the clinical picture

Adult-onset vernal keratoconjunctivitis (VKC) presents differently than childhood-onset VKC, though both show male predominance. Adult VKC has a milder course and distinct complications like limbal stem cell deficiency.
