Isolated eyelid milia presenting as systemic sarcoidosis

Sarcoidosis is a systemic granulomatous disease with variable clinical presentations, frequently involving the lungs, lymph nodes and skin. Ocular manifestations are common; however, isolated eyelid involvement, particularly in the form of milia, has yet to be reported. This case report highlights a patient presenting with eyelid milia as the sole ocular finding of systemic sarcoidosis. The case underscores the importance of recognising atypical presentations of systemic diseases, incorporating appropriate diagnostic investigations and initiating timely management to prevent complications.
