    Background:

    • Concussion, a traumatic brain injury, can lead to transient neurological deficits.
    • Electroencephalography (EEG) is a tool used to assess brain activity following head trauma.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate age-specific EEG alterations in concussed patients within 48 hours of trauma.
    • To correlate EEG findings with concussion severity across different age groups.

    Main Methods:

    • Analysis of EEG data from 300 patients diagnosed with concussion.
    • Patients were stratified into two age groups: under 20 years and 20-40 years.
    • EEG abnormalities were categorized and compared between benign and mild concussion classifications.
