Abstract:
Seven new triterpenoids, fornicatins N - T (1-7), were isolated from Ganoderma cochlear. Their structures including absolute configurations were determined by 1D and 2D nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, computational methods, and HRESIMS. The structures of compounds 1, 3, and 6 were also characterized by X-ray crystallographic analysis. In particular, compound 1 features a 6/4/6/5 tetracyclic triterpenoid skeleton. The biological activities of compounds 1-7 were evaluated using Western blot and CCK-8 assays. It was found that compound 6 exhibited significant anti-renal fibrosis activity, while compounds 3, 4, and 6 demonstrated notable anti-inflammatory activity.
