Trimetazidine effect on kidney function in patients undergoing coronary procedures

Trimetazidine (TMZ) did not robustly prevent contrast-induced nephropathy (CIN) within 72 hours after coronary procedures. However, TMZ showed a potential modest, long-term renal benefit one month post-procedure in patients with chronic coronary syndrome.
