Aim:
The aim of this research was to explore the perceptions of Lebanese nurses on the delivery of nursing care during the most recent war in Lebanon.
Methods:

Findings:
The inductive thematic analysis generated fours themes: "Unique working circumstances", "Patriotism and faith shaping wartime care", "Evolving concept of care", and "Professional and personal lessons".
Conclusion:
The study underscores the need for specialized war-related educational programs to train highly skilled nursing staff for effective care during emergencies in conflict zones like Lebanon, with potential implications for nursing academia and policy makers.
