  • Histopathological examination of a nodule revealed a benign dermal neoplasm composed of spindle and clear cells with vacuolated cytoplasm.
  • Immunohistochemical analysis showed positivity for S-100 and CD68, with negative results for calretinin, CK, Melan-A, HMB-45, CD34, and smooth muscle actin.

Findings:

  • The case represents the third documented instance of clear cell neurofibroma.
  • Neoplastic cells exhibited round nuclei with prominent nucleoli.
  • CD68 expression was noted, emphasizing the need to avoid misinterpretation as a histiocytic lesion.
