Abstract:
A male patient, aged 45 years, came to the hospital with a dental complaint. During the examination, a swelling was noticed on the left side of his face, which had been present for 4 years. The patient provided verbal consent to remove the swelling, and subsequent histopathological examination confirmed a diagnosis of apocrine hidrocystoma. Apocrine hidrocystomas are uncommon cystic growths that develop as benign tumors in the sweat glands. Typically, they appear as a single growth, although on rare occasions, they can manifest as multiple tumors. Typically, they are located in the head and neck regions. Herein, we report a classic case of apocrine hidrocystoma.
