Pipeline embolization in patients with hemoglobinopathies: A cohort study

Flow diversion using the Pipeline Embolization Device (PED) is safe for patients with hemoglobinopathies. This study found no complications in patients with sickle cell or thalassemia treated for brain aneurysms.
