Abstract:
Herein, three-phase nanocomposites La1-xCexFe0.7Ni0.3O3-δ (denoted as LCFNx, x = 0.1-0.3) are self-constructed in situ via Ce3+ doping at the La site in LaFe0.7Ni0.3O3-δ (LFN), forming a perovskite main phase (M-LCFN) with surface-decorated secondary phases of NiO and CeO2. The optimized LCFN0.2 exhibits a low area-specific resistance (ASR) of 0.022 Ω cm2, a remarkable peak power density of 2.36 W cm-2 at 800 °C and long-term stability for 200 h at 700 °C.
