Recognizing the need for practical guidance in implementing the FAIR Data Principles, a collaborative effort involving over 50 contributors led to the development of the FAIR Lesson Plan Handbook. The handbook serves as a framework to assist trainers in building effective FAIR data training programs within life sciences research organizations. Through a series of hackathons and collaborative sessions, lesson plans were created. The lesson plans cover key aspects of FAIR practices, including FAIR generics, Findable data, Accessible data, Interoperable data, Reusable data, FAIR software, and Data repositories. The Handbook is a community-driven, evolving resource hosted on GitHub, designed to empower researchers and support staff to incorporate the FAIR Principles into their work practices.
