Summary

A new risk model for isolated distal deep vein thrombosis (IDDVT) predicts pulmonary embolism (PE) risk using thrombus size (≥5mm diameter, ≥30mm length) and clinical factors. This tool aids in individualized risk stratification for IDDVT patients.
