Methylphenidate-Induced Stuttering in a Patient With Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity

Methylphenidate (MPH) treatment for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in a child with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) can cause stuttering. Discontinuing MPH resolved the stuttering, highlighting potential adverse effects of this ADHD medication.
