Abstract:
A calix[4]arene-derived AIE macrocycle (named T1) acted as an energy donor in artificial light-harvesting systems (LHSs), achieving 57.1% energy transfer efficiency with Eosin Y. The T1-based LHS enabled photocatalytic cross-dehydrogenative coupling reactions with broad substrate compatibility, demonstrating macrocyclic-based LHSs as efficient photocatalytic platforms.
