Abstract:
Atorvastatin is a potent lipid-lowering agent whose potential hepatotoxicity, anecdotally delayed, has been well documented. We present a case of cholestatic hepatitis due to atorvastatin with an unusually prolonged latency period, classically counterintuitive from a causality standpoint.
