Cervical Muscle Composition in Degenerative Dropped Head Syndrome: A Propensity Score Matching Study.

Dropped Head Syndrome (DHS) causes severe neck muscle weakness and deformity. This study found significantly higher fat infiltration in cervical muscles of DHS patients compared to those who underwent anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF).
