Two-dimensional vortex dipole solitons in PT-symmetric lattices with nonlocal nonlinearity
Abstract:
We investigate the dynamics and stability of 2D vortex dipole solitons in PT-symmetric lattices with nonlocal nonlinearity. Using the variational approach, we obtain analytical solutions from the proposed model while numerical simulations demonstrate the evolution of vortex dipole solitons. It is found that the depth of PT-symmetric lattices allows the solitons to undergo deformation. Intermediate nonlocality stabilizes the vortex dipole solitons with fundamental charge. In contrast, strong nonlocality induces an attractive force, causing the fundamental charged and higher-order charged vortex dipole beams to merge into a single soliton. The numerical simulations verify our analytical results.
