Abstract:
In this work, we established a simplified photoredox-mediated labeling system that allows the rapid aryl 18F-fluorination of functional electron-neutral and electron-rich arenes via 19F-18F exchange and/or deoxyfluorination without azeotropic drying, applying a HPO42- preconditioned anion exchange resin. The labeling reaction can be performed with the whole eluted 18F- other than a portion and has been verified on a radiosynthesis module. The simple reaction setup with all commercially available reagents and inexpensive equipment guarantees reproducibility and quick adoption.
