The journey of Black pharmacists in Canada is a testament to their resilience and dedication. Their stories are an integral part of the broader history of the pharmacy profession, highlighting the importance of diversity and inclusion. As we continue to learn more about the experiences of Black pharmacists, it is essential to recognize and celebrate their achievements and contributions. The aim of this short communication is to provide an overview of some of the first pharmacists of African descent who graduated from pharmacy schools in Canada, which included Dalhousie University, University of Alberta, University of British Columbia, University of Manitoba, University of Saskatchewan, and the Ontario College of Pharmacy. The achievements and contributions as early cohorts of Black pharmacists in Canada are highlighted.
