Abstract:
Non-condylar mandibular fractures are a frequent form of facial trauma, requiring precise evaluation and individualized treatment plans. This article reviews current approaches to the assessment and management of these fractures, with a focus on modern imaging techniques and surgical interventions. The role of emerging technologies, such as 3-dimensional imaging, virtual surgical planning, and custom implants, is discussed in enhancing surgical precision and outcomes. Key points include early intervention, the use of rapid maxillomandibular fixation techniques, advanced fixation methods, and managing complications. Recommendations for optimizing patient outcomes and future treatment directions are delineated. Emerging technologies are explored.
