Purpose of the Study:

  • To investigate current immunisation practices in children with single ventricle CHD across various heart centres.
  • To identify variability and gaps in existing immunisation protocols for this vulnerable group.

  • A survey was distributed to 53 heart centres to assess their immunisation recommendations for children with single ventricle CHD.
  • Responses from 40 centres (33 complete, 7 partial) were analyzed to understand current protocols and practices.

  • Only 11% of centres reported having a written protocol for immunisation in these children.
