Relation between intravascular and intraorgan gas volume and quantity via postmortem CT and putrefaction

Summary

Postmortem computed tomography (PMCT) reveals that both intravascular and intraorgan gas increase with putrefaction. Early stages show minimal gas, while advanced putrefaction correlates with significant gas accumulation in organs and vessels.
