Assessment of Bronchodilator Response in Patients with CF and Non-CF Bronchiectasis-A Randomized Controlled Study

Bronchodilator response (BDR) is rare in bronchiectasis patients. While cystic fibrosis (CF) and primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD) patients showed a greater response to salbutamol than placebo, its clinical significance remains undetermined.

- Further research is needed to determine the therapeutic implications and optimal methods for assessing BDR in bronchiectasis.
