Contingency contracting with a delinquent and his family
Abstract:
The successful application of contingency contracting with a delinquent and his family is presented. Contingency contracting with families of delinquents is reviewed and the advantages discussed. A multiple baseline experimental design was employed to evaluate the outcome of the intervention effort. No major adjustment problems were reported at 7 months follow-up. The intervention programme was also evaluated in an independent manner by the Juvenile Court. The problem of applying a flexible evaluation methodology in an open setting is considered.
