Gastrointestinal disorders are common among endurance athletes, impairing performance and quality of life. Symptoms such as reflux, nausea, and diarrhea result from splanchnic hypoperfusion, mechanical, neuroendocrine, and nutritional factors. Dietary, hydration, and training adjustments can mitigate these issues.
