Summary

Peritoneal carcinomatosis (PC) is treatable with cytoreductive surgery and hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC). Accurate staging using imaging and the peritoneal carcinomatosis index (PCI) is crucial for patient selection and multidisciplinary decision-making.
