Abstract:
A switchable photocatalytic dialkylation/cyclization of alkenes with α-CF3 alkenes and protic C(sp3)-H feedstocks was readily achieved by simply switching the commercially available base and/or its stoichiometry. This mild strategy enabled the divergent one-pot synthesis of diverse functionalized fluoroalkenes including gem-difluoroalkenes, monofluorocyclohexenes, and 2-fluoropyrrolines in a single operational step.
