Hallux rigidus is a degenerative condition of the first metatarsophalangeal joint, resulting in pain, walking or sports disability, and joint stiffness. When conservative treatment fails, surgical treatment is the option. The main minimally invasive surgery (MIS) procedures indicated are cheilectomy, metatarsal shortening osteotomies, phalanx procedures, and arthrodesis. Recently, some authors recommended adding an arthroscopy to help improve the outcomes of the cheilectomy. This study presented 2 MIS decompression osteotomies that can be included after cheiletomies.
