Improving corner lip position following prolonged facial nerve denervation significantly impacts patient's speech, oral competence, and facial expression. Valentine anguloplasty is a modified approach designed to improve lip position and offers surgical access for anchoring fascia lata sling graft to lift paralyzed lip. This technique performed on 9 patients showed improvement in lower facial symmetry, speech, and oral competence. The primary aim of this paper is to illustrate this technique as an additional tool in our armamentarium. In conclusion the main advantages of our approach include the ease of instruction, reproducibility, and favorable aesthetic outcomes, further research will be needed to quantitively evaluate degree of lip position in larger cohort of patients.
